GrynBowl Hookah Bowls
Grynbowls is a bowl manufacturer from Ukraine with many years of experience in this field!
Even if you may not have come across the name Grynbowls before, many of you will surely have held a bowl from this workshop in your hands at one time or another!
Among other things, Grynbowls also produces to order the long-popular Voskurimsya bowls and the Fox Hookah bowls, as well as hookah bowls in various designs for other brands!
So this is not a "new" brand whose products first have to prove their qualities, but very mature and very well-functioning bowls which the manufacturer now also sells under its own name.
Depending on the model, the bowls are made from two different base materials:
Either from red unglazed clay, which is protected against absorbing molasses by the milk-firing process.
Or, in the case of the glazed bowls, from white earthenware coated with food-safe glazes!
The workmanship of the bowls is very solid and high-quality and, for bowls largely made by hand on the potter's wheel, they also offer very good value for money!
The Glazed Mummy Turkish Bowls are made of earthenware and have a slightly small diameter for regular HMDs, but a roughened rim on which a suitable HMD finds a good hold. Alternatively, they can also be smoked very well with foil and a Provost! They are also pleasingly solid at approx. 340g, which allows very stable and "forgiving" smoking behaviour, store heat very well and have a chamber that is not too large, with approx. 15g +/- consumption depending on the tobacco!
The Accent Bowls are made of red clay, sealed by milk firing, and are relatively heavy, solid bowls with a flat chamber so that the tobacco is used up evenly. This bowl is fairly universal and suitable for any tobacco, does not get too hot thanks to its solid shape and, according to the manufacturer, holds approx. 18g +/- depending on the tobacco and packing method, and is compatible with common HMDs.
Killerbowl, unglazed and glazed black: with their flat chambers, these not overly solid bowls are very well suited to dark blends and, thanks to their moderate weight, also react very responsively to changes in heat. The unglazed Killerbowl is made of red clay, sealed by milk firing, and therefore does not get too hot. The glazed Killerbowl is made of white earthenware and, thanks to the glaze and the white earthenware material, allows smoking with much higher heat and heat storage. According to the manufacturer, both hold approx. 17g +/- depending on the tobacco and packing method and are compatible with common HMDs.
The Sirius Bowls are made of red clay, sealed by milk firing, and are relatively thick-walled bowls with good heat absorption, meaning they run very steadily! According to the manufacturer, the Sirius Bowls hold approx. 18g +/- and are suitable for common HMDs.
